i hate oman because there are no are variety in the shops whatsoever, whenever i buy some new clothes, it takes me about 5 min walking in city center to find another girl wearing the same thing, i really hate it so much, but u know what, it is not as bad as when u go 2 a wedding & find that two other girls r wearing the same thing as u r!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whne that happens i eitherdo two things: 1 never take off my 3abaya, or 2 try to sit as far as i can from them...
and then our parents always ask about y we like dubai more and wish we lived there.....
girls, where do u buy ur clothes from, and how do u feel when u find another girl wearing hte same closes as you r?

well, if you say the shops in Oman sock, i totally agree
i wanted to buy a new 550D CANON Camera, just to find that its 70 Rials more expensive and there is only but ONE shop that has it
Anywhere else you will have to choose which shop you wana buy from out of which Mall in which area!!!

oman sucks big time ..
not only when it comes to clothes and electronics, but it's also way too uncivilized and needs a lot of time to catch up with other gulf countries.
i've only been here for 2 weeks and already it's driven me crazy
no places to go, no decent malls to hang out at, and most importantly no DECENT internet connection. i mean come on !!
plus, they have no right in blocking Voips such as skype, this is pure theft
